Appalachian Trail Mate - 2007 Trail Data UpgradeThis download file will upgrade version 2 of the Trail Mate to year 2007 data, the latest update available. You must have version 2 already installed on your computer to use this update. Click on the link below to begin the download process. If you choose the "Open" or "Run" option you will immediately begin the installation directly from the web. If you choose the "Save" option, you will download an executable file to your computer which you can then run to perform the update. Simply follow the on-screen prompts and in only a few minutes you will have the latest trail changes, updates and corrections as published by the ATC. The file is very small and takes only a few moments to download and install.
Appalachian Trail Mate - Version 2 UpgradeThis download file will upgrade any version 1 of the Trail Mate to the latest version 2. This update also includes the 2004 trail data information, in case you have not previously upgraded your installed version 1 (which was distributed with year 2000 data). You must have version 1 already installed on your computer to use this update. Click on the link below to begin the download process. If you choose the "Open" or "Run" option you will immediately begin the installation directly from the web. If you choose the "Save" option, you will download an executable file to your computer which you can then run to perform the update. Simply follow the on-screen prompts and in only a few minutes you will be able to experience all the exciting new features and capabilities that version 2 has to offer! Please be patient during the download. This is a 5 megabyte file that can take 15 minutes to completely transfer to your computer using a 56k dial-up connection. Trust us, it is worth the wait.
Appalachian Trail Mate - Trial VersionThis download provides a fully, functional trial version of the latest Appalachian Trail Mate software. This trial version is absolutely free. It will allow you to experience first-hand just how easy it is to plan your next hike. This trial version is, however, limited to only a small section of the trail for evaluation purposes. There are no time or usage limitations. If you decide that the AT Mate is everything you hoped it would be and are ready to unlock the entire trail, you can purchase the activation file that will upgrade the trial version to the full, unlimited version.
